Mervat's "One Jacket Five Ways Challenge," #5 of 5: stormy weather.

This felt so wonderfully texture-y when I wore it, with the interplay of the plaid jacket, polka-dotted top, and multi-print skirt. And yet, in pictures, it just feels kinda... blah.

Earrings and necklace: Dots.
Jacket: Loehman's.
Top: H&M.
Skirt: Burlington Coat Factory.
Boots: Dansko.

  1. oops. I submitted before I was finished.

First, I like what you've done with your coat five ways challenge. Second, about my refashioned sweater, reattaching the cuffs was not difficult. I can't even say why, but it didn't require anything advanced, and I wasn't nitpicky.

  3. I'm glad you like the new profile photo, sallymandy. And impressed to hear that re-attaching the cuffs wasn't difficult. I mean, it's a knit...

Thanks, elena-lu! I like the looks you achieved with your cardigan, especially the one with the floral-printed skirt. It's so fun.
