I hope you get a game soon. I love the scarf as a belt.
ReplyDeleteI'm loving the scarf too - it gives you a very cute-but-confident look.
ReplyDeleteYou'd better get a game in your calendar before the season's over; I can't believe how summer is flying by!
You look like you should be in an Ralph Lauren promo ad! Love it!!
ReplyDeleteLove your little tweed vest. LOVE.
ReplyDeleteThis look suits you so well. It is perfectly proportioned on you. And that brooch is simply stunning!
ReplyDeleteJane and Struggler, you're right, I really should go to a baseball again!
ReplyDeletePenny, that's so funny. I think I can picture it.
sallymandy, I love this tweed vest, too! I think it's one that will stick around for as long as I can still fit into it.
Mervat, I hadn't thought of it in terms of proportion, but now that I look at it that way, I agree. I think that's one reason I felt so good in it. I think I'll be repeating this outfit and variations of it quite a bit.
Hi Stephanie--this isn't a comment on your cute tweed vest outfit, but a question. Will you remind me what kind of chain you use to weight the hems of garments? And what size or thickness you get? This is a great idea, and I'm going to do it with a couple items. Thanks! Have a great one...Sallymandy
ReplyDeleteHi, Sallymandy. That's so funny - someone else asked me that exact same question recently, so I'll just quote myself: "I ordered my ball chain from ballchain.com some time ago. I ordered a whole 100-ft spool, which will probably last me the rest of my life, but I think you can also order pre-cut lengths. I find that weights #3 or #6 are good for weighting-down hems."
ReplyDeleteIt's so cool that you're planning to do this, too!
